Today's connected world should be shared by all, and that's what Cloudfunding believe, and has built the platform to take advantage of the technology era we are now in. This early stage of the digital era' foundation has needed to find a monetizing model to find growth and establish credibility while in the transition, it's been found in advertising but without much change to marketing's current model, if looked at with the future in mind, it's not a fair and sustainable model, - it's currently only a crutch and stick on approach to help find monetization. This current stage being played out in the early digital era is similar to the Wild West when Catalogues were distributed out to isolated towns, to people who had little choice but to select and have things mailed out to them, it was slow and costly, and certainly unsustainable. Luck has played a major part in this early stage in finding a monetizing method that's trying to convince industries to shift their marketing budgets to a new medium, hoping to find the holy grail in advertising, the shift is still without any proof of success in reaching the ultimate goal of getting sales, the shift is still flying blind, without solving anything. The use of payer centric models to influence exposure has a degree of stand-over or certainly bad player practice to it, that will need to show reason for it to continue to be used in the future, in favor of a more balanced model. The contribution by sellers should not be underestimated, given the risk they continually need to make to be in business, which is why the digital era needs to be democratic and not load the monetizing cost on one player, while others gain - sellers should be seen as the source, the treasured commodity and treated like gold, it should be free for sellers to display their products. Advertising will become a commodity and even fund major projects in the future! |
